Origin: Born and raised in Brownsville of Brooklyn NY and currently living in ENY Brooklyn closer to queens. I was a “unique” child hence why my mother gave me the middle name. My mother always stated that I was a combination of her brothers in the talents I acquired through the years. My uncle Bentley is the tech guy, Uncle Dexter the script writer, Uncle Austin his drawing ability and my Uncle Gregory with his good heart. It is a good and back thing because I am considered a “Jack of all trades”. That can cause a lot of stalling when it comes to what I wanted to do in life. I went to art school to start off as a comic book artist, started getting heavy into video games and writing. The first site I wrote for was PSPnation which was just a community for PSP players to come together and have social interaction. I believe a year later I was recruited to write for Gameflavor.com; this is where I really took off on my writing getting nice hits for my Prototype Review. Later on I teamed up with my friends at Bifuteki.com. After a while I started listening to my gut instincts and branched out on my own here at Kuma Kreations Entertainment, thanks to my supporter and mentor Jason Rosenberg.
Expectations: What I expect is to become notice and share my thoughts with you all, because as we all know the geek world is expanding to a positive area. We are getting more noticed than ever before and many of us share the same ideas. I just want to bring that all together with the content I research for and the experiences I have through the tech world. So far I am a solo act, but hoping to get a good team together to post their own ideas, however I am having a great time either way. I appreciate the fans I gained, the hits I have been getting and of course the support from people that believe in my abilities. Born into a sheltered family, all raised to stick with what was known and never take an unnecessary risk, I knew from the beginning that I was destined for more. After many years of rebellion and always taking the unorthodox path I embarked on my solo mission for greatness at the age of 14. Since then, I have wandered many paths, pursued many dreams and encountered many obstacles, even defeated a few villains and big, bad bosses. Acquired an Associate’s in Business Administration from the local college, but the Parental figures weren’t too pleased. So, I put myself through Nursing school to make them happy. School itself wasn’t horrible, rather enjoyable, and I finished with honors. However, upon completion, I realized that all I had obtained was a significant amount of student loan debt and a certificate in a field that I hated. It was at that moment that I decided to stop trying to please everyone else and spend MY life doing the things that make ME happy. One of those things…Gaming. I’ve always loved gaming. I’ve come a long way from blowing into Nintendo cartridges and trading Pokémon on my Gameboy, but I will always cherish those golden days. I play a variety of games on multiple consoles, but I have made my home on my PS3. I love Call of Duty and I am currently leading my own COD clan, but I always make time for the many other amazing games in the world. Writing is another one of the things that make me happy. I used to manage the school paper in high school and college. These days I maintain my personal blog and do some freelance writing for local papers. I was recruited here from a FB page that I admin. I am excited and honored to be here, mostly because of the great deal of respect that I possess for Kuma and his work.
Geeks, Nerds, Gamers we’ve all been outcasts for years, decades if you will. We are finally getting recognition and notice and I feel that it is merely just beginning. The force is strong within us all and when we come together and unite for the purpose of staying informed and growing as a whole, everyone benefits. That’s what I expect. I hope to help KKEnt continue to grow, expand, unite and inform the Geeks, Nerds and Gamers of the cyber world.
