Dying Light Humanity Preview

I tend to wonder how I would really change if the world went to hell. I mean we as gamers joke about being ready for some form of apocalypse, but when you really think about it. The price is way too high if such an event actually happens, because mentally would you really be prepared to do the unthinkable that most would consider losing their soul over? In this new preview trailer called "Humanity", Dying Light brings that thought to light when the chips are down, it all gets thrown out the window when the world flips the game into a kill or be killed society. (more…)...

Dying Light 9 Minute Featurette

vlcsnap-00013-599x233 The zombies are just a pain the butt, I mean I get it. You end up dead either by bite or chemical situation, get resurrected and now you are very hungry, but why does it have to be humans? What gives you the primal need to crave my flesh out of all the places you can go to get a good meal. I mean granted I am delicious to what some of the ladies consider, but come on there are strays and of course butcher shops with meat hanging off hooks that you can feast on. Either way all that can be remedied with a good pair of sneakers, stretching and some parkour skills in this new Zombie Apocalypse title from Techland in association...

Top Ten Tuesday: Racing Games That Should Be Movies and Vice Versa

Good Morning and happy Top Ten Tuesday. There are two different genres that are flipping platforms for fans coming out soon. The first announced was the Need For Speed movie starring Breaking Bads Aaron Paul and the 80's Mel Gibson post apocalyptic film Mad Max coming to consoles. In that this dawned to me as I am surfing the web thinking about other titles that would make great movies and or video games. I sat down and picked my favorites for this great list, but be aware that I am going to name one that has made it to video games, however they never brought it over seas. (more…)...

Wtf Gamers? Premature Maturation: A Question of Quality vs Time.

If you read the title more than once, then props to my team at KKEnt for the help. I welcome you all to this week’s WTF Gamers?!? in which I will be talking about how games need that time to be the right game to enjoy. It has been apparent that games have increased in release almost every week and honestly, the selection has been quite dull. The best example I can come up with is the recent release of Naughty Dog's game The Last of Us; which features a strong campaign and a flawless multi-player. It is apparent that Naughty Dog has been working on this title for over three and a half years; which has been extremely intense. So this question has been asked for a long time now, "What is more important?...

Spoiler Free Review of The Last of Us

Everyone always boast about being prepared for either a zombie or infected apocalypse scenario. The confidence is inspiring, but no one can truly know their reaction when it finally happens. Take Joel for example who is just a normal single parent trying to enjoy his evening with his daughter, until disaster strikes and the world goes into a panic. At this point you do what normal people would do, try to contact friends/family, get the essentials and try to drive to safety. That is a well thought out plan, until the random situations start to occur, because you can't predict what other people might do. This is the latest game from Naughty Dog, who brought us the Uncharted series and now is tackling the survivor horror genre with The Last Of Us, exclusive to the...

Thoughts on the Sony E3 Conference…Mind Completely Blown

Day one of E3 is finally over and even though Microsoft looked as if they were going to win this Bear over with the reveal of TitanFall, Killer Instincts, Crimson Dragon and of course a sneak at Halo 5. Here comes Sony saying, "Hey wait up friend, we have not shown you what we had to offer. You must give us a chance!" I am a fair meta-human so why not? I sit down with my dinner and wait patiently for the press conference to start and even with the delay I was ready to see what they had to offer. I will admit that they started off funky with all the talks about their TV ability and movies; which was making me very peeved. However they finally revealed the system and I was laughing...

KKEnt’s Latest Preview on Dying Light…Parkour Meets Zombies?

Get ready folks because here comes another zombie title....sigh. I understand that when a fad happens, people tend to run with it and right now we are expecting another zombie title coming from Techland in association with Warner Bros. Games. This is the preview of Dying Light which will be release on current and next gen consoles in 2014. I don't know how many of you already seen the footage I am about to unleash upon you, because from what I am understanding it is parkour against zombies in a first person environment. At first I am thinking, "If I know parkour, there is no way a zombie is catching up to me!" However you will be facing the super aggro running zombies that have agility and mutated parts...oh yea that is fair.
