There have been many times when a person obsession can turn into an ugly ambition. It becomes a noble purpose at first, but then the corruption sets in where those few will do anything to anyone to get what they desire. In this case we have one fighter that is thirsty to learn the secrets of their sensei’s special art and sadly Sekai is in the way of this individual’s ambition for true dominating strength. Gundam Build Fighter Try episode 20 is going to show us the true secret of Jigen Haoh School.

It is not power that corrupts but fear. Fear of losing power corrupts those who wield it and fear of the scourge of power corrupts those who are subject to it.” – Aung San Suu Kyi

Sekai is in the Gundam battle of his life facing off against his former senior and once friend Junya whose obsession with the belief that Sekai holds the final secret to their martial art style. Junya has gone through many journey’s to gain absolute strength by studying other styles in hopes of conquering Jigen Haoh, but his heart along the way became a demon. Junya’s ambition was focused on conquering instead of obtaining a peaceful road, but now his drive is to destroy Sekai to learn the ways.

This was a strong episode showing off a great battle and amazing gunpla art that made my jaw drop, but I like how it was more than just a one on one battle. It was more of a realization of one individual trying to battle against another’s selfish ambitions. There was a point where you thought Sekai was going to give up, but the soul of Build Burning Gundam and the strength of his friends gave him hope in overcoming Junya’s goal. It was a tremendous fight, but it was only the beginning of Team Try Fighters adventure. This became a two part episode showcasing another fighter who is using the legendary Crossbone Gundam X1 Full Cloth. This is one scary Gunpla and now it is in the hands of Lucas Nemesis.

You know he is going to be the main contender for the final rounds of the Gunpla nationals, but the level of his fighting is as of right now unmatched. This is the situation that makes one think twice about entering when one fighter takes on three and leaves nothing left to rebuild. Now that Lucas has shown his presence, his sights are now on Sekai. I am looking forward to the next battle.

Episode 20 Unbreakable Heat gets 4.5 out of 5. There were a lot of great moments in this episode and some touching revelations with some great humor. The ending scene leading to the next episode has me hyped to see how Lucas Nemesis deals with Gundam Acamedy. Gundam Build Fighters Try is one of my favorite Gundam series and I need to go out and start building again.
