Good Morning gamers and welcome, it has been a long time since we all enjoyed a good battle between ladies and gentlemen in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The founder of this great event is DrNikki who leads EliteGirlGamers on Facebook and they are all about, “providing a platform in which people can find new friends to play online games with. It is merely here to encourage positive interactions between men and women in the gaming world.” That is all right by me and so far the community had been going strong. My role in this whole epic battle is pretty much commentator and stream personal on my page at twitch.tv/kumakreations. Thanks to the awesome Cod Cast mode on Call of Duty, it is easier to get a view of everyone on the battlefield; as well as their commentary instead of playing and just being on one side. It was the first battle last night and it ended with the best of 3 rounds with the men taking the Win 3-0. There were many close calls all around, but I guess the fellas wanted the first game of the New Year to be their own. It is cool because after last night’s battle, I am sure it caused a thunderous wrath of the Valkyries to bring down some vengeance next weekend. It has been a long time since the battle of the sexes has happened and finally it is being revitalized once again. This is kuma here with the great announcement of the return of Elite Girl Gamers B.O.S on Call of Duty: Black Ops II. What’s going on, my Call of Duty community? It is I, Kuma here, with another debate that has been going on for a while. Recently I ran into a superior troll on my YouTube page that came out completely off-base about Hardcore being superior to Core. I have to admit I was one of those people telling others to play Hardcore for a real challenge, but as I thought about it through different games, I came to a final thought. It took me a while to weed through people complaining how Core is with too many shots to take down an opponent, but I hardly heard any complaints about Hardcore other than the annoying portion of Search and Destroy where you have to wait until the next match to respawn. It is indeed that time to put this debate to rest and hopefully there will be less scarring involved on how people feel.

There is always this nostalgic feeling I get when I run into a broken down machine some where as I walk around NYC. I either walk pass a factor and find a wrecked arcade machine and this time it was an old Pac-man machine. I do not have fond memories, but my greatest one was on Pitkin Ave. and Dumont I believe shopping with my mother in the mid 90′s right by a newstand some owner had the first Street Fighter arcade mission. That is right even news stand owners had their own arcade machine. I just missed the atmosphere of actually going out to a local sandwich shop or pizza place with your friends to battle it out with many other people. I used to save so many quarters especially ones my mom never used when doing laundry just to set up for the weekend. This was the real way to social network and talk crap with the guys at the arcade while waiting our turn on the machines. I have to admit during this time it was a huge sausage fest with the ratio of females was very low. I recently just had a Birthday and I look back as I saw this machine and was just thinking, “Damn those were some good times, but what happened?” Was it really the money issues, did consoles really kill arcades or was it something else?

Shadowkat here and we are FYC1. The one in our name means that we are the ONE AND ONLY FYC Clan that matters! We are a small clan that is slowly growing. We play to win and if we lose, we work to be better. We learn from our mistakes, so there is no shame here! Our Clan wasn’t official until the first Black Ops, but we all started long ago. We take on Clan Battles and we love League Play. We’re not always serious and we don’t get butt hurt, so try us if you dare! We’re here to fuck shit up, more specifically, YOUR COUCH. Yes, we know that’s what hurts you the most! We are recruiting and its nice meeting more gamers!

Closing out this year will not be an easy time for gamers. Our time is occupied with many things in life…jobs, relationships, and games with levels that at times can be cumbersome to manage. But once again, we have come under the scrutiny that has often been reserved for literature and film. A clamor has arisen because of an incident, a tragedy that I wish not on anyone. Our hearts still have much to heal, because gamers are humans, too.

How much of a geek/nerd are you? Does this imaginary high level gives you the right to persecute anyone that steps into the realm to see if they deserve to pass or not? HELL NO DUMBA**! Ever since I was a little cub, I thought being a geek/nerd was going to be a curse, until I saw Revenge of the Nerds in the 80′s. It gave me a new perspective and confidence on being who I am. The old ideas of the word geek and nerd have changed for the better, which has made it a booming culture. We have become the new hotness and apparently there are few that have grown a horrible ego that makes a select few feel the need to attack others knowledge or status in the culture. In this case our female geek/nerd sister are being attacked hard and It makes me ask those few males in the culture that insult the ladies, “Are you apart of some He-Man Women hating Club? Because you are f**king up years of progress!” In this post we are going to have quotes from some victims of this ignorance and a nice video on a certain subject. I know many of you are tired of hearing about this topic, but guess what? It is still not fixed or getting any better and as geeks/nerds we should know better in treating people as such!
