KimChee X’s Manga Monday Rant: 11 Eyes

11eyes_manga_coverGood Afternoon, KimChee X here to bring you another review of another, well I cannot say great manga, but a manga it is I am reviewing. First off, sorry for the slow post from me, I was sick and then I got busy. Now onto the review, if anyone has read my other posts then you know how much I hate bad endings. And this one had a bad ending. Not only did it have a bad ending the story felt like it was rushed and they didn't really care about the storyline and why everyone was forced to fight demons. Let me step back a bit,  jumped ahead since I just want to warn all of you not to read this. This is the plot: (as stated on wikipedia) "After...

KimChee X’s Manga Monday Rant: 13

shiranui_13_one_shot.00Good Day good readers,

I am here to bring to you a one shot manga. This has got to be one of the most beautifully violent romantic manga I have ever read. This does not take a romantic story and add violence to it but turns the violence into a romantic story. Not sure if that made any sense but once you read this little gem you will get it.

This is a one shot manga, so it is short, about 39 pages in all. So no excuse for you to not read this. The main characters are 2, a boy named Mondo Fujieda and a girl named Izayo Gorugo. This starts out innocently where the two are in elementary school where Mondo has a...

Throwback Thursday Manga Style – 20th Century Boys

230px-20thcenturyboys01

Good Day Readers,

I am here to present to you a good classic manga, 20th Century Boys. This is a great read as the story splits into two different parts with two different main characters. Even though the story seems to split in two sections, the flow of the story is pretty seamless from one part to the next. As this manga has a lot of flashbacks. So you will be doing some backpedaling if you are not paying attention.

The story revolves around 4 childhood friends that make a secret club in a field, and someone is using the clubs secret text and logo to start a cult. Kenji the main character for the first half of the story is trying to unravel...

Age of Empires II: HD Edition Review and Giveaway!

Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings may be a game that was released almost a decade and a half ago but it still stands in my personal top three favorite games of all-time. While nostalgia may play a factor in why I love this game so much, the game itself is much more than one might expect from something created literally last millennium, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. (more…)...
