Attack on Titan has grown a huge following and with the up-coming live action movie coming out later this year over seas. I am not surprised seeing more merchandise showing up for fans. This time around we have the Eren and Mikasa figure each sold separately. We shall take a look at Eren Yeager first who stands at 1/8 Scale Pre-Painted PVC. It is well articulate and you can’t beat that action pose ready to slay a nearby titan. You can feel the anger in the expression on Eren’s face which was taken special care to mimic. There are no known movable parts, but honestly the attention to detail is amazing. This bad boy will run you at $139.99.
Now for Mikasa who is a bigger badass than Eren in my opinion. I don’t know, but I just get caught up with strong women and Mikasa has shown her strength numerous times in battle. That’s why I am very impressed with her figurine which shows grace and elegance in the character. Standing at 1/8 Scale Pre-Painted PVC with full detail to the uniform and attention to the weaponry is to be appreciated. The artist working on this figure really went out of their way to give us that serious stare Mikasa has to show that she means business and is ready to work. However Mikasa is ten dollars more than Eren which is questionable. That’s right she will cost you $149.99.
Eren and Mikasa are a great pair with one showing off great conviction in a revenge path against the titans, while Mikasa holds her emotions only to be there for Eren when needed. I hope that translates well when it comes to the live action movie. I really want to see both characters shine and keeps to the story well. In that if you have the budget I would say pre-order these two figurines before April 30th, 2015. I am not going to be surprised if these sell out quick and besides you can always walk by them pretending to be a Titan…clothing optional I guess (laughs).
