MORTAL KOMBAT X Gameplay PREVIEW

In this sequel to Mortal Kombat 9, Netherreal Studios gives fans hope to a possible return for fan favorites, new threats to Earthrealm, new FATALITIES, and new characters such as Kotal Khan, Cassie Cage, Ferra/Torr, and D’vorah, and possibly many more. But let me just start out and elaborate on how this game will possibly be an amazing successor to the very much loved Mortal Kombat 9, with new characters, fighting styles, and the next gen look, that will ultimately change how we view the Mortal Kombat franchise forever.

What I’ve noticed from MK X, is not only the next gen look, but the ability to choose three different fighting styles per character, which will improve the players’ experience and additionally teach constant players to hone those skills to eventually defeat the game with ease. In addition, MK X will include environmental attacks, which will keep players invested into the breathtaking cinematic take downs and bone braking x-ray moments that will leave you salivating for more.

Furthermore, Mortal Kombat X obviously takes the franchise a little more than 25 years into the future, with introducing Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade’s daughter, Cassie Cage. Cassie, a member of the special forces, makes the list of brand new characters that ties us to the original line up, which probably means that Jonny and Sonya will make their debut in MK X. Kotal Khan, an Aztec demigod, and terrifying opponent, which helps us further welcome a new generation of characters into our mists, and send fourth the possibilities of new characters for every new Mortal Kombat game. If you’re not pleased with this new founded idea, then it would relieve you that fan favorites Scorpion and Sub-Zero are included in this game, but it is unclear whether it is the same Sub-Zero from the last installment.

In the end, I think it is safe to say that Mortal Kombat X may possibly be worth $59.99 straight out of your wallet. It is hard to say that this game will be a homerun at this moment due to this installment still being in development, but it is definitely worth keeping a close eye to the franchise we know and love.
